A wheel sorter with 45° diversions uses pivoting/angled wheels to gently divert cartons and totes onto target conveyor lines. It is suited to continuous flow operations requiring reliable singulation and dynamic routing. Throughput scales with lane count and upstream conveyor speed; this configuration lists 20 chutes. Works well in compact footprints and integrates with WMS/WCS for rule-based destination control. Includes inline DWS (dimensioning-weighing-scanning) for automatic identification and routing. Typical process areas: inbound (goods receipt & check-in), item sorting (order consolidation, put-to-zone), outbound (shipping waves), and returns handling.
